Google R+D // Solutions in the Wild

Implementation

Our design research only mattered if it could be applied to real-world conditions. This body of work focused on the handoff between prototyping and implementation—how to evolve ideas through iteration, and embed them into active projects.

We partnered with delivery teams to document solutions, refine them for field use, and integrate feedback from users and site partners. Becuase of my public art background, I also sat on the campus art selection committee and compiled the list of candidate artists. Many of these ideas now live in Google's current workplace portfolio, influencing design standards, operational systems, and cultural outcomes at scale.
